Giving Tuesday Donation Match, November 29 - December 3
Giving Tuesday, celebrated this year on Tuesday, November 29, is a global giving event that encourages people from around the world to support a non-profit organization of their choosing. It’s a chance to improve life in the communities in which we work, live and play.
As a community-driven organization, the United Way of Taylor County (UWTC) is committed to helping donor funds stretch even farther this Giving Tuesday season. From Tuesday, November 29 through Saturday, December 3, UWTC will match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $500 per donation. When making a donation online at www.uwtaylor.org, donors may specify which UWTC agency they’d like to support.
Agencies that may benefit include Black River Industries, Childcaring, Hope Hospice, Jean M. Thomsen Memorial Library, Restorative Justice of Taylor County, The Salvation Army, Samoset Council - Boy Scouts of America, Chippewa Valley Boy Scouts, Sand Box Child Care & Preschool, Stepping Stones, Taylor County Commission on Aging, Taylor County Supportive Housing, and the Western Taylor County Library.
If donors choose not to specify an agency, those donations and UWTC’s match will be split amongst all UWTC agency partners. UWTC will match up to $5,000 total for this campaign.
