Day of Caring

Day of Caring 2024

October 11, 2024 | 8 AM to 4 PM

Are you ready to make a difference in our community?

The United Way of Taylor County is excited to announce the Day of Caring, taking place on October 11, 2024. This is your chance to give back and volunteer alongside fellow community members, businesses, and corporate teams.

The Day of Caring is a remarkable day of action where volunteers come together to tackle half-day and full-day projects that local nonprofits might lack the resources to accomplish. Whether it's cleaning, outdoor yard work, or other essential tasks, your efforts will directly impact the well-being of our community.

Seeking Project Requests and Volunteers

Volunteers! Whether you can spare a half day or a full day, your time and dedication are invaluable. Half-day shifts are available from 8am - Noon or 1 - 4pm. Those volunteering for the entire day will be treated to a free lunch from Noon - 1pm. Sign-up to volunteer!

If you're a nonprofit organization with a project in need, submit your project details by September 22, 2024. Make sure to provide all the necessary information, including project description, location, and any physical requirements.

Where will the projects take place?

Day of Caring projects will be held at various nonprofit and community organizations across Taylor County. Stay tuned as we unveil the full list of projects on September 27 on Facebook and listed here.
